A few days ago Tayip Erdogan and V.Netaniachou decided to fully normalize relations between Utkrey and Israel. The move ends their six-year conflict, which began in 2010 with the intervention of Israeli commandos on a Turkish boat that was heading to Gaza, which cost the lives of 10 Turkish Islamic so-called ‘humanitarian organization’ activists.
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Neteniachou stressed that “this is an important step that will boost the Israeli economy.” Turkish president Tayyip Erdogan expressed hope that the agreement would improve the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
Israel will also pay $ 20 million compensation to the families of the victims on the Turkish boat Mavi Marmara. Israel will support the shared commitment of Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Turkey to stop Iran drawiming a “Sunni line” across the Horn of Africa, the Red Sea, the Straits of Aqaba and the Mediterranean coast of Israel and Egypt.
The question is reasonable from the point of view of those dealing with foreign policy issues. The reason has to do with the upcoming end of the Islamic State that Turkey has financed and aided.
Political observers point out that it is just a matter of time before a new balance of power is established in the region. Another reason is the “convenient” pipeline that will facilitate the movement of gas and oil from Cyprus and Israel, via Turkey, to Europe.
In that case Cyprus will become a “hostage” of Erdogan’s regime. Not to forget that half of Cyprus is already under Turkish military occupation and the international establishment is preparing a new solution of bizonal bicomunal federation for the island.
