New migrant flood pushing Hungary‘s fence to breaking point

The winter isn’t yet even over, but already the Muslim migrant flood into Europe is speeding up again. And, unlike last year, the invaders are refusing to be stopped by fences. Just as they’ve taken to storming the flimsy defences around the port at Calais, so too in Hungary even the serious razor wire fence that members of an APF fact-finding mission saw last autumn, is now being breached on a daily basis by gangs that won’t take ‘no’ for an answer.

The good news for now is that, at least around Asotthalom, Mayor László Toroczkai‘s additional camera system and border guard patrols mean that many of the illegals are detected and promptly rounded up for deportation, but the number of such breaches is already so great that, unless the Orban government and its Visegrad4 partners step up security all along the border, when the flood turns to a tsunami later in the spring then the fence will be cut to ribbons and the invasion will become irresistable.

We believe that Europe needs to deal with the ‘refugee’ crisis in ways that do truly fit with its core values. This surely means taking action to halt the plundering of the third World by multi-national banks and corporations, and stopping imperialist wars which destabilise these nations. The “right to stay at home” would end any need for “rights for refugees”.

Meantime, these photos, supplied by the Custodela online news service, in whose setting up the APF delegation played a small but useful role, give a glimpse of what is going on at present:

Next stop, Scandinavia or Britain?

“Which way to Ficki Ficki Land?”

Thanks to Asotthalom’s field guards and their new thermal cameras, another group has been caught. These men came from Somalia, which does not have a war

Thanks to the surveillance camera system the field guards can watch over the whole territory of the village. This was how they noticed and caught this group of Moroccan men in Ásotthalom
