Shocking truth about the group of Marxist fanatics attacking the APF

Roberto Fiore challenges smear-mongering MEP to debate

A leading Swedish socialist MEP has today been challenged to a public debate, as a matter of ‘real democracy and principles of tolerance’, by Roberto Fiore, President of the Alliance for Peace and Freedom (APF).

The challenge, which the Italian former MEP made in a letter that warned separately of legal action over defamatory and libellous statements, arises from the decision of Swedish socialist European Parliamentary fraction leader Marita Ulvskog to associate herself with a wildly inaccurate attack by Swedish far-left group Expo on the APF and many of its leading figures.

Ms Ulvskog is displaying the intolerance and totalitarian attitudes for which European socialists are notorious by calling an ‘emergency meeting’ of the Socialist group within the Parliament to look for ways to prevent millions of nationalist voters – in particular those who favour effective restrictions on immigration and rapprochement with Russia instead of confrontation and job-destroying sanctions -from having a pan-European grouping that articulates and represents their views and interests.

The Expo document on which Ms Ulvskog mistakenly seeks to rely is full of errors so basic that it would be laughable were it not being used in an effort to subvert the democratic process and the right of European citizens to choose from a full range of views right across the political spectrum, as opposed to merely those whose views are ‘acceptable’ to the Socialist bloc.

For example, it ignores completely the fact that Mr Fiore was not only acquitted of the terrorist charges brought against him by biased Communist-linked magistrates, but also compensated as an injured party for having been falsely linked to terrorist acts.

Not content with libelling an innocent man, the authors of this propaganda assault on the APF go even further, making themselves look, quite frankly, ridiculous.

Lacking actual facts to support their threadbare case for censorship and political discrimination, Expo and MEP Ulvskog simply make up totally unfounded fantasies, including fictitious ‘anti-Semitic’ quotes and claiming credit for an alleged withdrawal of funding for another pan-European political party, which the Parliament’s own publicly available records confirm has never taken place.

Clues as to where this willingness simply to invent outrageous lies comes from may perhaps be found in the origins of Expo. It was founded in 1995 by a group closely associated with violent and criminal anarchist and Communist gangs.

The main figure in the founding of Expo was Stieg Larsson, a long-time member of the Communist Workers’ League and editor of the journal of the Swedish section of the Trotskyite Fourth International.

Having been trained in the use of mortars during his time on compulsory service in the Swedish Army, Larsson travelled to Eritrea and trained female members of the Marxist Eritrean People’s Liberation Front to fire mortars. It is not known how many people died as a result of Larsson’s interference war-torn in Eritrea.

Additionally, even though it receives large amounts of money from Swedish taxpayers, Expo is directly linked to the far-left street militia and terrorist gang Antifa (see photo at top of article, in which Swedish Antifa holigans attack the police). At least one member of the Board from Expo is also in the Board of the company Piscatus, that is working to build a commercially profitable register for journalists, in order to turn public records into private profit. On this company‘s board is also a leading Antifa member, who recently admitted to working for the Secret Police and helping them to hack the computers of political opponents.

The shocking record of extremism and violence of the Expo clique should alert serious journalists to the need to file their ‘report’ in the appropriate bin, whether real or virtual!

Below is the text of the letter sent today by APF President Roberto Fiore to Martia Ulvskog MEP, who has not so far responded:

Dear Madam

I read with deep concern your extremely inaccurate statement about myself, my colleagues and the Alliance for Peace and Freedom.

I will not comment on the defamatory statements you and your associates have made because these will be matters for the Court to decide.

I do, however, wish to inform you that in the past I have won hundreds of cases where my reputation had been damaged, and that our lawyers have started doing the same against anyone who defames the APF or me in relation to it.

You and your collaborators have made a number of statements about our beliefs and our activities which are indeed, in your words, ‘embarrassing and scary’. You have even involved another party, the AENM, claiming falsely that, thanks to you, their funds were suspended. This claim is demonstrably a groundless fantasy, a fact which sets the tone of your entire misguided and dishonest interference in our affairs and those of the European Parliament.

Contrary to your claims, our actions since we were recognised as a European-level political party have been devoted to securing real peace between Europe, Russia and Belorussia. We have visited Syria several times and are shortly sending a further delegation there in a mission for peace and cooperation. We have worked to expose and condemn the masterminds of the very real anti-democratic and sectarian terrorism of Daesh and other violent Jihadist groups, and the threat they pose to decent people of all faiths in both the Middle East and Europe. We have carried out campaigns in favour of free speech as an indivisible right, and against those trying to curb it.

With these facts in mind, we proudly say that “peace and freedom” are not merely part of our name, but the very foundation stones of what we do as well.

Although we will be responding to your and other people’s libellous attacks through the legal system, I am happy to offer you, in a debate to be held in the European Parliament, the opportunity to articulate your political animosity against us and your reasons for it. We trust that you agree that such open discussions are an important part of real democracy and that you share our belief that it is both a matter of professional ethics and of the principles of tolerance to which you claim to subscribe for you to accept my invitation.

Yours sincerely

Roberto Fiore
President, Alliance for Peace and freedom
